What is Open Invite?

Open Invite is an Uncommon capsule collection designed to be a call to action for inclusivity. It’s built on a belief that tomorrow can be better than today. It’s a story told through golf, but it’s bigger than golf.

The Journey

For our first Open Invite collection, we collaborated with Group Golf Therapy to tell the story of Maya Reddy, an LGBTQ professional golfer and current student at Penn Law exploring her identity through her relationship with golf.

The Open Invite collection consists of a limited-edition Electric Yellow Model 55 and Model 33. By the choice of Maya Reddy, Ten percent of all sales are being donated to The OUT Foundation and Athlete Ally to promote inclusion in sport

The Journey

“Athlete Ally has been a huge part of my life ever since I first came out to myself in 2011. They showed me, and especially Megan Rapinoe, that you can be a queer athlete, that there are other queer athletes out there playing at the highest level, and there are folks and communities and orgs like Athlete Ally there to support us. Without Athlete Ally, I don’t know if I ever would have felt I could have come out and still play golf.”

“The OUT Foundation's mission is to remove the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals' access and participation in fitness, health and wellness, ensuring their success. OUT is dedicated to nurturing, empowering, and celebrating LGBTQ+ bodies and minds, guaranteeing our community thrives. And that celebration has been huge to me personally and an ethos I am beyond proud to support.”
